Harvest Child and Youth Development Center provides age-appropriate programs for children 6 weeks to 12 years old, fostering emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual growth in a warm, multicultural environment that supports lifelong learning for families across New Castle County.
As children transition from toddlers to more independent learners, our preschool program
bridges the gap with age-appropriate routines and play-based learning.
Our full-time infant program offers a warm, nurturing environment where children can begin to build a strong sense of security and trust. Our dedicated staff supports each child’s early development with care and attention.
Toddlers are given the opportunity to explore and play, helping them develop a sense of mastery over their environment. As they begin to assert their independence, creativity and freedom of choice are actively encouraged.

Our belief is that every child forges a good start in life at Harvest Child. That is, the value that guides the existence of Premier Learning early childhood education center is based on the understanding that it offers a caring, safe, and engaging environment where children feel free to develop confidence and acquire the skills essential to them in the critical learning phase they are in. In addition to games and entertainment, we teach children with well-thought-out lessons and help stabilize them emotionally so that they are ready to start studying at school the following year.
We do not just offer a place to keep kids parked all day. It is a fulfillment that comes through learning, play, and companionship. We focus on building inquisitiveness and imagination and offer a stable framework to children so that they feel secure. Not only are the teachers and caregivers highly qualified, but they are also very much inclined to help each child achieve their potential.
The size of our classes is small to ensure that each child gets the attention they need. Whether it is exciting story-time sessions or practical activities, our daycare program makes learning enjoyable and natural.
