At our Christian childcare center, we believe that “Children are a gift from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3). Our experienced and loving staff are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where your baby is deeply cared for and continually prayed over.
Each infant’s daily routine is thoughtfully guided by their individual needs, encouraging healthy development and growing confidence. Our teachers gently support your child as they begin to walk, talk, and explore God’s world—fostering curiosity, independence, and joy in His creation.
Light-filled classrooms with age-appropriate toys, books, and music promote motor and social skill development while nurturing your child’s heart, mind, and spirit.

The early stages of the child are years of rapid development, discovery, and, above all, education. As a Christian childcare facility, Harvest Child has a vision to ensure that infants prosper in the secure, loving, and supportive environment that is meant to aid them in triggering their personal developmental process. We realize that it is not only the babies who need care; they also need guidance, encouragement, and a positive environment that helps them reach their full potential. That is the reason why our Infant development program and Infant education program lay emphasis not only on nurturing their physical needs but also on encouraging their potential in early learning.
The moment you walk through the door of our Christian child care center, you feel that you are welcomed and the community is evident. Our staff treats all babies as individuals, and we understand that they grow at their own pace. We work together with families, making sure that the care provided by our center is consistent with what the family gets at home (love, support, etc.). Each of these details, such as cozy rooms to sleep and sunlit areas to play, aims at making the infants feel good, happy, and active.
The spectacular achievements of the first twelve months of life, smiling, rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and taking the first steps, are exciting events. As we support children, we implement our Infant development program, helping them achieve these milestones with confidence. We focus on motor skills, sensory development, and emotional bonding through age-appropriate activities. Whether during tummy time, gentle musical sessions, or interactive play, all components of the program assist babies in acquiring the skills needed for the next phase of development.
Our caregivers monitor each child’s progress carefully. They celebrate every small achievement and provide support whenever additional help is needed. This individualized approach ensures that no baby is left behind and that every child feels motivated in all their actions.
This is the case because when people are babies, they are already in the middle of information swimming through about the world they are in, and this is at a tender age. The curriculum on the various subjects in our early education curriculum introduces them to early learning in a way that is also entertaining. We prompt them to start learning language and cognitive skills (through storytelling, music, simple words, and colourful visuals). These are well-structured to be fun and also allow the brain to develop.
We are of the opinion that the child ought to have learning as an adventure throughout the day. That is why our infant development program and infant education program become a part of everyday activities, e.g., feeding and fun. Babies learn to recognize patterns, noises, and even the rhythm of talking at an early age, establishing a good basis for their further learning.
That is what makes our Christian childcare center unique because we bring faith to daily care. We inculcate children by telling them about kindness, patience, and respect via small talks and day-to-day processes. Although our programs are aimed at building the body and mind, we also influence the heart and spirit. We offer care and love with our staff, who are role models so every baby feels needed and special.
Parents play the most important role in children’s lives, and we regard ourselves as members of this process. The infant development program and infant education program involve families in the development of their child, keep them informed, and instruct them about activities they can also carry out at home. Such free flow of communication gives parents confidence that they provide their baby with the best attention they can.
The initial years form the foundation for lifelong learning and development. We ensure this foundation is strong, nurturing, and full of love at our Early childhood education center. Combining professional care with faith-based values and a focus on growth ensures that each child is ready not only for the next stage of learning but also for the world.
Harvest Child and Youth Development Center provides age-appropriate programs for children 6 weeks to 12 years old, fostering emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual growth in a warm, multicultural environment that supports lifelong learning for families across New Castle County.
