Our philosophy is that by nurturing and engaging students from an early age, they can achieve their full potential academically, spiritually, and personally, guided by the Holy Spirit and the principles of the Bible. This approach aims to create an environment where learning is not only enjoyable but also sets the stage for long-term success guided by Christian values.
Our kindergarten program focuses on both academic and social-emotional development. Here is a breakdown:

• Students learn to recognize and write both cursive and manuscript letters of the alphabet, along with their sounds.
• By four months into the program, students begin reading.

• Students learn to count by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's up to 100.
• They also learn to recognize numbers before and after, along with other arithmetic facts.

• Phonics: Fundamental for reading and language skills.
• Handwriting: Emphasis on both manuscript and cursive writing.
• Spelling, Grammar, Science: Core subjects to build language and scientific understanding.

• Students will learn foundational stories about God’s love, power, and goodness
• Students will explore, identify, and apply a variety of character traits in their Bible lessons, including love, wisdom, self-control, thankfulness, trust, humility, courage, forgiveness, attentive listening, and stewardship.
Overall, Harvest Christian Academy’s kindergarten program is a balanced approach to education, combining strong foundational academics with opportunities for creative expression and social growth.
Every child has a significant step to take when he/she enters school, and it is important to consider where to study. The aim of the kindergarten program is to provide the most advantageous start to the children in the Harvest Child program. Our mission is to develop a good academic, social, and emotional base, in a nurturing and a safe learning environment.
Our Kindergarten program will allow the kids to explore, ask questions, and express themselves. We know that all children have different ways of learning; therefore, our teachers will apply interesting ways of teaching to allow the children to enjoy learning. Age-suitable learning materials, colourful drawings, and other interactive games are presented in classrooms to engage students and foster their creativity and curiosity.
The period before the children are allowed to join school is crucial as far as building life skills of any kind is concerned. We have a kindergarten program that covers reading, writing, and early math, as well as art, music, and physical activities. The educational sessions will be well-organized to enhance focus, problem-solving capability, and communication skills. We also attach significance to such values in unity, kindness, and respect, which also help children become confident and compassionate.
Our philosophy is that education does not involve books and worksheets. It is due to this that in our Kindergarten program, there are activities based on fun projects, nature-oriented activities, and play-based learning. Such a method will enable children to relate what they might have studied in the classroom to the real world. Parents also join this journey, and updates are provided, and problems can be addressed through the parents’ involvement in Early childhood education center.
The transition from kindergarten to higher grades can be challenging, but our program makes it smooth and positive. By the time children complete our Kindergarten program, they are ready for the academic and social expectations of elementary school. They proceed with confidence, curiosity and love of learning which will remain with them for a lifetime.
In Harvest Child, we do not perceive any child as an ordinary but rather a child with great potential. Our Kindergarten program is not only early education, it is the beginning of a beautiful life.
