Since its founding in June 2005 under the visionary leadership of Dr. Raymond D. Williams, Sr., THD. II, Harvest Child and Youth Development Center (HCYDC) has been a cornerstone of early childhood education.

Our mission at Harvest Child is based upon the belief that every child needs to have a good start in life. Our early childhood education centre is not actually something where children can learn A-B-C, numbers, etc. This is a warm and loving place where the young minds have an opportunity to grow, explore, and acquire necessary life skills. We focus on a well-balanced and socially, emotionally, physically, as well as academically nurturing methods of learning for a complete development.
Everyone is aware of the fact that children learn well when they feel safe, happy, and curious. This is why our early childhood education centre includes a balance of structured activities and discovery, and points out a lot of possibilities for creativity. During story time, art projects, outdoor play, and music, we structure each of our days to create fun and freedom. The behaviour of our teachers is very gentle, and they encourage children to ask questions, solve problems, and express themselves freely.
Our early childhood education centre is a group of robust teaching staff. Every teacher is charismatic and patient, with years of experience in early childhood education. They communicate well with families to get to know the individual child’s needs and learning differences. This hands-on treatment allows us to come up with an effective learning program that gives us confidence and independence.
At our early childhood education center, we do not just want to get children ready to go to school, but we want them ready to live life. We educate the youngsters with such important values as kindness, respect, and cooperation. Establishing good relationships and developing communication skills will help children cope with new challenges, as they will be able to leave our center with the confidence of handling various things.
